Okay, so this goes along with what I wrote in a previous post about Gutenberg and his press. I was listening to the radio today while I was getting some lunch and heard that one publisher is going to release a handwritten Bible next year. I thought to myself, “Hmm… that’ll cost a lot.” But it turns out that the publisher is going to be traveling across the US and get a lot people to handwrite a verse each. I assume they’re going to scan those handwritten verses and then print all their copies from the scans. The publisher is going to try and get some notable people like President Bush and Billy Graham to write a verse.
If I were to choose a verse to write, I might choose this one:
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

wow, that’s kinda cool. hopefully people don’t just write whatever they want instead of the real verse
I’m sure they will have editors check each verse as they compile it into a printed book.
Thats a really cool idea. I would love to see the finished product. I think for my verse I would choose John 4:34: “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
